Pure confirms the launch of Shanghai event

·         17 brands already confirmed for first international launch of Pure in  Shanghai

·         Over 150 international and domestic brands to take part

·         Partnership confirmed with CCPIT TEX

·         Pure Shanghai to work closely with sister organisation WGSN Group China

i2i Events Group, organiser of Pure London, is pleased to announce the launch of Pure Shanghai & PH Value ‘P&P’ in Shanghai this year, October 20-22. The event will be held in partnership with CCPIT TEX, the largest textile association in China, who have already co-organised fashion and textile exhibitions, including Chic and Intertextile in Beijing and PH Value and Intertextile in Shanghai.

Seventeen brands have already confirmed their participation in the fair, seeing it as a trusted vehicle in which to access this £98bn sector as they look to open up wholesale, licensing and distribution opportunities. Little White Lies, PIT Amsterdam, Cocoa Cashmere and Gina Bacconi are just some of the brands already confirmed for this year’s event.

Fenella Barber, Director of China Britain Business Council says ‘ As a CBBC member, i2i Events Group are helping to guide brands looking to enter the Chinese retail market, already having produced an insightful market report entitled ‘Retail Opportunities in China’. Their concept of bringing the British High Street to China is one which will resonate with the Chinese consumer who is looking for a more diverse western fashion offering. The CBBC is excited to be part of the launch in October.

As part of Top Right Group, i2i Events will also work with Top Right’s network of offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, Seoul and Tokyo and will leverage its local partners’ database of 150,000 contacts, including retail buyers, agents and distributors, to ensure strong attendance from throughout the region.  WGSN Group China, part of Top Right Group, will provide the inside track on future fashion trends, with seminars and runway-style catwalks forming a strong part of the event’s attraction.

The launch in Shanghai is part of an international brand strategy which also sees investment in the forthcoming edition of Pure London.
