Show in 2009 features an expansion in wool producers

- Benefits to visitors include new tours of the venue - and a drawing for a free city tour of Beijing

Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics, which will be held 29 - 31 March 2009 at the China International Exhibition Centre, has expanded a focus on wool products for ladies and menswear and will offer a new Orientation Tour and lucky drawing for a tour of Beijing.

The show will feature 1,300 exhibitors in 48,000 sqm, to highlight products for the spring / summer 2010 buying season and is a key feature of the northern Chinese textile trade calendar.

As a bonus for visitors, the show will for the first time include a special orientation tour of the venue on the first two show days to help familiarise trade buyers with product and country zones and other useful features.

Held twice daily, at 10:30am and again at 2:30pm, visitors can take a tour to learn about the show features: country and region pavilions, seminars, and a free shuttle to the other major textile trade events taking place in the city, including the China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC), and Yarn Expo Spring (for apparel fibres and yarns).

Visitors who register online before 16 February will also be entered into a lucky drawing for a complimentary city tour of Beijing.

"Visitors to Intertextile Beijing can not only engage in trade but can take advantage of fashion week in the city, including CHIC and Yarn Expo, says Ms Wendy Wen, director of trade fairs for Messe Frankfurt (HK). "We have found that many buyers combine a trip to the show with factory visits as well, to take better advantage of their travel budgets. They also can see one of China's most historic cities and the lucky drawing is a small token we are offering to make their visit more enjoyable."

Wool suppliers add new products to show

Intertextile Beijing will include a focus on wool producers this year, with some of the top suppliers on site. Exhibitors will feature fabrics for mens and ladieswear in wool and wool blends including silks, cashmere and rare fibres such as chinchilla.

Hield, one of the leading worsted manufactures in England, will feature weave super 230's wool and blends of cashmere, vicuna, chinchilla, silk and other noble fibres. Stock is supported in China for cut, length and service.

Also from the United Kingdom, J & J Minnis, under HFW (Huddersfield) Ltd, will feature high quality fabrics with cashmere, silk and fine wool. The company stocks a supported range for tailors and garment makers.

William Halstead Ltd, also from the United Kingdom, will present classical fancy worsted suitings, super 80's to super 200's, speciality mohairs, cashmere, escorial and flannel suitings.

And from Turkey, Yunsa will feature wool and wool blends including wool / linen, wool/ pes, wool/pesAycra, wool/mohair and wool/cashmere.

In addition to wool, Intertextile Beijing Apparel Fabrics 2009 features cotton, silk, linen, ramie, man-made, knitted and other materials along with accessories. The show is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, The Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT and China Textile Information Centre.
