All the stands at Texworld have already been booked for the next show, which will take place from the 15th to 18th September this year.
Almost 850 exhibitors are expected. A large number of companies re-booked very quickly, or even did so directly at the last show, as they were encouraged by the commercial success of February’s exhibition. Faced with the requests for large stands, some sectors have been expanded, like those for knits, cotton for dressmaking, denim, lace, embroidery and shirting.
“Renewed confidence, which is due to the recovery even if it is still halting, has restored exhibitors’ interest in returning to Texworld and increasing their presence there in order to win over the European market, which always offers potential", stresses Michael Scherpe, President of Messe Frankfurt France.
China, South Korea, India, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Turkey and Pakistan, mainstays of the global textile industry, will be joined by other textile-producing countries like the Netherlands, Bangladesh, Egypt and Italy in order to present innovations and their new collections to the professionals in the industry.
Olaf Schmidt, Vice President of Textiles and Technical Textiles exhibitions at Messe Frankfurt, explains the success of the show, "Texworld Paris has become an unmissable international meeting place thanks to innovations and the products offered there, which provide inspiration to professionals from all sectors, regardless of whether they are buyers, product and style managers or designers. Its success has encouraged us to launch shows in New York and Istanbul."
