On May 3, Yang Jun, Vice Secretary General of China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) on behalf of the council signed an agreement with Xianyang Municipal Government on jointly setting up Xianyang  Xinxing Textile Industrial Park for taking over the westward movement of textile industry.

It is reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and CNTAC have decided to set up 9 "National Exemplary Park for Westward Movement of Textile Industry" and Xianyang Xinxing Park is the first one that CNTAC has signed with local government.
